I once forced my poet Hai Uyen (that is, Ho Hai, as her family called her) to burn all her love letters (a box of nearly 500 letters in the "finding friends from all directions" section). I replaced them with my "unnamed love letter."

___ We got married on December 22, 1980. It was the "founding day of the Vietnam People's Army," and General Vo Nguyen Giap had a bodyguard visit me at 62 Vu Bao.

(...military secret: if I wrote anything about the visit, even if it was "Z3 secret agent," I would have deleted it... it wouldn't violate the law...)

___ We had a simple vegetarian meal; he and I sat at a table and chairs. Because I ate from an earthen bowl and sat in meditation to "consume the meal," a Buddhist term.

___ Nguyen Thi Bay's birthday is September 2, 1959. It's National Day.

___ But actually, it's the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. CONCLUSION: Before my divorce trial, my collection of love poems and even the 29-page English translation of Nguyen Du's *The Tale of Kieu* were burned.

___ This means, who were you in your past life? A Buddhist disciple must know who they were in their past life before they can talk about someone else's past life and what karmic connection led to knowing.

Fear

In a hundred years, fear comes and goes,

Fear remains the same year after year.

Small matters are blown out of proportion,

Worries gnaw at me all night long.

Afraid of not winning the favor of others,

Afraid of constant criticism.

Afraid of everything in the world,

As soon as I see my own shadow, I run away.

Afraid of others surpassing me in everything,

Afraid of being inferior to anyone.

Afraid of future humiliating failure,

Afraid of a bleak and uncertain future.

Afraid of loss, afraid of having nothing left,

Afraid of loneliness in this life.

Afraid of others judging and evaluating me,

Afraid of my own weakness, unable to act.

Fear is like a monster,

Always lurking, clinging relentlessly.

Making us retreat into our shells,

Missing countless opportunities and love.

I wish we dared to cast aside all,

All our fears and hesitations.

To live each moment to the fullest,

And open our arms wide to embrace the future!

Once upon a time, the small street was covered with green tamarind leaves,

We stopped under the early summer moon.

Our story flowed like water,

Sweetly poured amidst naive passion.

The old schoolyard looks different now,

Only the sound of cicadas echoes in the vast emptiness.

We searched for each other along the roads,

Seeing each other's figures, fragrant with the scent of time.

Why remember those golden dreams,

Now each of us is on our own path.

Yellow leaves fall, gently dropping at the end of life,

The story of the past is like a distant lullaby.

In my heart, I still hold a flower,

But the branch is broken, only sorrow remains.

I must gather up the days gone by,

So that my soul will no longer cling to dreams.

Each Goes Their Own Way!

___ I divorced for legitimate reasons. The Buddhist mendicant order demanded a "Divorce Certificate" to register me on their list. She is the principal of a kindergarten and the president of the women's association. Her teacher is a "fellow villager." Her father is a "close friend" of my father. My poetry collection has been presented to the Binh Dinh Cultural and Artistic Association, and my wife will burn it. That's the condition for going to court for the divorce, and I won't share any finances. I accept being ZERO. In short: I wrote about her divorce in a poem, a "diary entry."

___ That means the poem is about the wealthy kindergarten principal who is also the president of the women's association and has been divorced for a long time! She owns a karaoke bar. OK! That's what her teacher told me. And it's near my house, in the same area. I go singing with my cousin's son. Because I know my wife is very sensitive, jealous, and hot-tempered. Deliberately misunderstanding what I'm talking about? Very stubborn and unkind. I haven't received a single word of encouragement, and you're attacking my poetry and writing, only to torment yourself. Annoying and paradoxical situation.

___ I will translate it into English and delete the Vietnamese, leaving only the English information when talking about the "divorce event." Or should I just keep it bilingual, so that someday I'll read and understand it?

___ She (the principal of the kindergarten she funded) came to my house to mediate. She brought a letter with a love poem. And the teacher at her school likes to "store" my poems. Instead of "mediating," she even confessed her feelings. I publicly announced that my wife will marry her former lover, who fled the country and settled in America. Because the former lover's wife and two sons (my unforgettable first love) died in a traffic accident. We communicate through blogging. My former lover is educated and a blogger!

___ I would like to request one week to speak privately with my wife. I accept and agree.

___ That's the article declaring "rumors are spreading rapidly on social media." (Authentic Vietnamese writing style, not foreign, English, American, French, German...!)

___ That is, "unverified information."

CONCLUSION: What is the purpose of that information? Is there any correlation? What impact does it aim to have, and who does it impact? Would you contribute to spreading unverified information? Of course not. (But the right to store "information" is up to you and me.)

___ I reported it before and the information was blocked for "violating the law," but this time it's "circumventing the law," I don't care. But it helps me, and remembering a good memory makes me happy!
