  • Observe the Number of Breath: that is, contemplate the breath and count the number. Once upon a time, Shakyamuni Buddha was under the Bodhi tree, sitting on the grass, counting, and so on.
  • Observe the Number of Breaths emitted while nearing samadhi, not borrow the Number of Breaths, as an object of mindfulness, to meditate. 
  • Meaning: Once upon a time, the Buddha, while sitting and clasping his hands, was determined not to move! Cross your feet, turn your feet back up, determined not to go, stand, shut your teeth tightly, determined not to speak. The eye looked down at one place, then slowly closed it. Standing with one corner of his eyes fixed, he learned to die: the aspiration of his eyes being fixed and dying, no need to open them. Ear as hearing back into, silent, as if dead, in the cosmic silence...His nostrils took a very long last breath, and took one last breath and held it: shut off. Depressed like death, knowing nothing, after the moral search with life. After times of fatigue, depression, and enlightenment, it seems that there is no longer a desire to live. That is called entering Nirvana, entering concentration, entering the stand-off tranquility, of universal truth.
       But because at that time, the body apparatus, still running, the fire inside has not stopped, the hot blood still changes, causing a condensation in the lungs: up and down! Lung chamber down, up gently, throbbing: ... slowly slowly, that is the situation of a person who is about to die, will die, close to death.
       Looks like a man dying of old age, an unconscious man, a deep sleeping man, a good night's sleep. A happy death, of a person who wants to die wanting to sleep, after the discovery of eternity, is wanting to die forever, sleep forever, just want rest first!
      The death and rest, for the soul still greedy, eager to watch, want to think and do, it is very uncomfortable to object, hard, difficult: if people like enlightenment, it is very easy.
     In those moments, their minds were resting, happy, and delighted.  They don't feel anything anymore. They go on being quiet, knowing in silence, living in silence, nothingness! Everything seems to have stopped, silenced to them, their spirit has been gathered several times, the power is harmonious, will often be born in a flash, circulating. The spirit of intelligence is the pillar of the eye, the living gas is enthralled, the spirit of sitting upright: enough fire, thanks to which the human power arises quickly, the inside and out poured out all over the place. Now the person lives by sense, quietly and gently...the sound of the heart beating lightly: slow, but it sounds like a loud drum, like a loud music, there is enough rhythm, but the mind does not pay attention come  It is the time of the universe and every life, every wind that pulls in, repays, and regulates slowly!  Because the mind-soul is alert, sensuous, and awake knows how to be quiet; the only remaining visible body is the breath, each breath like each physical existence. Experiencing each inward breath as birth body, each breath returns as death is lost, into the mother's womb immense universe. Life is for that person, it is a quick breath, includes all the time things, and then must erase the bucket, like quickly, without remorse. Then the person is not attentive to breathe, but still breathes. The human mind has been at rest, the breath, the body; or without the breath, or without the body, is fine. He knows only death, sleep, rest, quiet, natural: no disappointment, no-no at all!

  • At first, the person is not natural, then the breath, it will be the best friend of the person leaning on.  It is like a cloud underfoot to bring the human soul to the realm: supreme, nothingness, nature. When we arrived, it was not to mention: keep that cloud slightly. When we arrived, it was not to mention: keep that cloud slightly. Or the sense at first, still pieced together lying there, will slowly get up and fly away.
  • Or as at the new time, there are still emotions and distractions, so we have to keep our sense in one place of the breath, and then practice the time to skip: forget it completely, until naturally, as of course...While forgetting the breath is not yet, it is like counting each breath, waiting for the time to die, still visualizing: observing it, called the observation: Number of Breathing, so!
        The Number of Breathing is still in place where people are dying, wanting to die, resting without hope. Then again, it will be lost, no longer, so-called breath number, is not there, not real. Because it still existed in the meantime, then vanished, so no one wanted to preserve it, the Buddha and the ancient Saints had to be like that. It is not legal, want to live, awake, hope, but practice.
       But if someone wants to dispel afflictions for a moment, but practice meditation, commenting on counting breaths that way: it's also quite good! For quickly forgetting things and sleeping, resting like death is very easy.
      Thus, observing the Number of breaths, there is never a place where people can see themselves as important to their status, indebted to society, the family, and the world. There is no place where people want to live, awake, remember, say, and do, extremely or inadequately.
       Because observing the Number of breaths is the middle way, the step of samadhi, in contrast to the chaos. But if the human practice, the essence of enlightenment, when enlightened, there will no longer be attachment to life, consciousness, or turmoil. Then the middle way's Breathing Number will appear, hold on to keep people pure liberation, to reach Nirvana of samadhi.

The result of the Number Observation of the Brath is samadhi. As a result of samadhi, whether the person has a body or loses a body, that's fine! As long as there is a complete spirit, a spiritual mind-like, a radiant Truthfulness-Like, solid subject, the existence of the seed, of the self, it will make me. 
        Granted: Observing the Number of Breathing, for people who have heavy karma, hope is tough! However, it should also be tried to practice cultivation times, as it will enlighten and alleviate many people's suffering. And those who have purified the karma end, that will have it naturally, or completely overcome it, by samadhi, see themselves as dead, sleeping, resting for a long time.
        In the past, the Buddha and the Arahants, through such enlightenment, were allowed to enter samadhi and generate divine powers and wisdom. Although the body has not yet died, slept, rested, and developed incomplete divine powers, while entering samadhi for one to five or seven days, there will be six miraculous spells slowly and gradually.
        After that, they still have to wait to receive sentient beings according to the call, so the practice for themselves must be reduced by half, to both take care of themselves, but also help others. But those external works of theirs, depending on the conditions and circumstances, done, are ignored...! If we meet, then do it; if not, don't look for hope.  They do not consider their position important, or obligatory, in terms of duty or responsibility: neither! Because it is a happy vow, that wish, whether fulfilled or not, is just "spiritual: voluntary" and should be considered as a noble mission. Therefore, in their mind, they always see themselves as dead, asleep, resting, while the body is still observing the Number of breaths. Thanks to that, their enlightenment, their wisdom, and miraculous powers did not recede. But so, when it comes to the law of going forward, it is a little bit slower, although it is poor in that respect, and with saving the world, the merit, wisdom, and full enlightenment will soon be complete!
Sutra: The Three Jewels 
Being True-Like will increase more, and enter concentration by other good things from the outside in. Making the way and the results are still full, naturally growing quickly, no less, so that it always includes two names: Religion and Ethics at once. ☑ 
      __ That is also because: Observing the Number of Breathe benefits, so later on, there are many ways to cultivate and practice with the breath. But people are only attentive in the breath; not a few people can notice the number of breaths available to them, where the pure level ends karma. These respiration also have many benefits.  chậm rãi đến mãn hơi ! For example, a person was practicing like this: breathing in gently, stretching, silently thinking: "Remember: Guru"; slowly to full breath! Bounce back and stretch slightly, silently reciting that: "Shakyamuni Buddha" ...; slowly to full breath! Toss back in, remember again, make a circle, with nine words "Remember: Guru Sakyamuni Buddha!" (9 words in Vietnamese, but 4 in English) And consecutive circles.  Walk, stand, lie down, and sit, all recite forever, practice not to miss a breath, except during oversleeping, or when talking. That person, by concentration, is quite good, the six-senses will be purified, and will come to enlightenment, ... of death, sleep, rest, number of breaths: average level, which is determined. 
      __ Because when we recite, memorize ... we get used to it, we will no longer recite those nine words, but English is 4 words; but as always, imprint on the breath! As long as there is still breathing, lighter and lighter, until at last we only know whether to die, sleep, rest, by short breath: automatic.  It is contemplating the breath to enter concentration. He recites the Buddha's name, or "seven parts bodhi", to borrow faith to support, to diligently and to admire! Don't count one, count two, count one, two, or as many as you like. Someone recalls a dhamma sentence, recites another name of Buddha, or something else; any topic should be beneficial, because the essence of the mind is to focus on. Those who are weak or psychotic first chant a voice to familiarize themselves, then chant in silence, and let their ears listen to the breath.  Again, without reciting, the breath is familiar as if there is thought!  After all, if you lose mindfulness and the breath is still slightly healthy, like when it comes to the scene of death, sleep is the number of breaths to appear, to enter into samadhi. Observe the Number of breaths that called a flying cloud, brought into the land of Buddha.
       There are also new people at first, reciting the Buddha's name a lot according to the in-breath, while the out-breath, let go of it, called: reciting the out! After a long time, I still recite in a sentence, the next time I still have a voice, then remember with the breath, only to stop thinking... But still as imagined, then comes the number of breaths and samadhi.

  •  It is said that the breath is like a cloud, because the body is still a cloud; if the person's breath wants to fly high, he must first cling to the cloud, which is the mind following the breath at first. When reciting out loud, as when calling for help to the Buddha, when enlightenment meets the breath of reciting silently, it is like meeting a cloud, a lotus, the Buddha has given it. So we have to cling to, so that the soul is light, clean, tall, high, far away from time to time, end and give up: earthly karma, but to the heaven of Desire, there is still sensuality. As long as there is mindfulness of breathing, it means that you have been in a lotus flower and a cloud. To heaven: The form world of the gods, yes-yes, when the mind ceases, only the breath remains! The word "息-tuc " in Sino-Vietnamese means "breath", which means that you have ascended to the realm of high-flying clouds, to the realm of Formless Realm: no-no. Finally entering concentration, no longer knowing the breath, of contemplating the breath, that is, having reached the climax: the nothingness of Nirvana and Great Concentration. Leaving the clouds of the lotus, but the mind is still, no longer moving, falling heavily, that is, attaining the Way, staying always in the metaphysical land of Nirvana Buddha. At that time, no longer use the body, the breath, the lotus, whether the body is dead or alive, the body is still alive or dead: that's okay! Because my mind has self-control in the air (no space of the middle path)...lightly. Those who are still alive can be like that! Then, when the waterfall loses the body, the cloud, the lotus, people will no longer be afraid: the mind-consciousness falls into the earthly karma, the suffering of samsara.

  • Some people are better; they do not think like that. Depending on the situation, they generate thoughts! For example, while hungry, they recite satiety, satiety, and satiety for a few words of their thoughts, saying it out loud according to their breath. Then silently recite each breath in and out, one voice, and then count each out-breath. They only remember one voice: full, imprinted in their mind, finally, there is still a natural, smooth breath, completely lost the sound of fullness, and entering samadhi. 
      __   There are also users, a memorial: fixed, one.  Or a thought: death, an idea: sleep, one; or a voice: rest, one, etc.  One can use any language, depending on the situation! For example, when you're tired, say good, when you're sick, say good, strong... when hot, say cool, when sad, say happy, etc. People use a relative voice as a method of dealing with enemies, afflictions, and peace of mind in the breath, and arrive at Nirvana in silence.
       These recitations, sometimes very effective, are due to faith in a holy Buddha and the gathering of divine intentions, contributing to electricity that produces results. The result of the performance of the transformational magic is due to the strong will of the god "electricity", not the Buddha's name, but the spirit of the Buddha's name. Borrowing faith is a virtue for the weak and deranged, but for those with a strong mind, it is not borrowing thoughts. Because it is determined, using any title, first line, or any language name can also make it. Should be called a bodhisattva, having attained samadhi and wisdom is having innumerable far-reaching meditations.

For example, the Bodhisattva, in the heat of the moment he said that it was too hot! Cool, cool, that is, he secretly remembers cool, cool, cool, from the sound of one breath in and out, and then slowly imprinted on his mind, in and out of his breath. Next, the light breath when entering concentration, it will be like a cool breeze blowing right back, extremely cool and healthy. Whatever they encounter, whatever they do, they also use it to count, enter samadhi, and develop supernatural powers. Therefore, they transform infinitely, enter innumerable meditations, and become more enlightened, more and more enlightened. That is the breath contemplation of the advanced, the wise. As for the low level, or the attentive, hard-working apprentice, counting from one, two, three, up to a hundred thousand at a time, a certain number, by the breath in and out. Or count the Buddha's names, each breath, each name, counting forever from forward to reverse, and from reverse to forward. To control the mind, bring the mind to a place to get used to, to enter the number of breaths to enter concentration.

Eyes looking down, biting teeth: bend the tip of the tongue to touch the roof of the throat and close the lips. Take a deep breath in, extending down to the navel, expand the lower abdomen, and when the lower abdomen is pulled, take a long, forceful breath out, counting silently: one! Next, take a deep breath and come back in, exhale, and count silently: two! He sighed harder and harder, and kept counting, according to a certain number, several hundred, several thousand every day, and increasing the number. That way, for the mind to have a job, not to move outside, every step of the way, walking, standing, sitting, lying down, is also breathing, counting. The reverse breathing like that, for exaggeration, to bind the mind, is also the magic of disease prevention and treatment: very good! Because the breath is strong, it makes the lungs open. Fan the fire of the heart down, warm the stomach, quickly digest the food-nutrients and bring the heat to help the kidneys behind, make the fire above and below: circulate each other. Running all over the body is hot, emitting sweat, good blood, strong liver support, helping the five viscera to make it warm: pure water three times, after three times of filtering. Produces strong qi, draws fire from the head, eyes are bright, ears are open, head is light, forehead is cool,  sweet tongue, clean nose.; Sweet tongue is because, when sitting in meditation, used to often: biting teeth and bending the tip of the tongue, touching the roof of the throat! At the base of the tongue exudes saliva (a new fluid) exudes, and on the tip of the tongue, more water penetrates into the moist air. 
Nervous or water new translation that, by bending the tongue, quickly ends up thinking thoughts. The steam in the body will expel the poisonous gas from the outside, preventing temporary illness and healing quickly. Then, after each breath, the breath will be normal, light, and light: enter concentration forever, no longer counting thoughts! It is also the magic of changing fire, fanning fire depending on the time.
__  Otherwise, people count the number of each leg, to lead the air up and down; from the nostrils, to the base of the throat, to the hollow above the navel, to the navel, to the lower abdomen. Or for running all over the body, each place of intention, through a thought training habit. ☑

  • One can also practice holding the breath through the nose, to breathe through the biceps, two calves, following the pores. 
  • One can live by breathing good, clean, cool air, so-called eating air, not drinking fruit juice, just like turtles. Similar to a turtle  (龜 - quy), holding its nose and not breathing forever, because the hairy legs can also breathe instead, but very weak, with less breath, so there are only people who don't talk, do, worry, think... Sit in one place and practice to quickly attain meditation, and then it will be easy to practice.

  •  Regarding the breath, one can practice it in any way; the main thing is to practice concentration and correct the nature. But when you practice, you must experience it, watch out from a little bit of difference, lest it be too extreme and inadequate, there are obstacles; harmful to the body, causing loss of peace and development. One can also need to know many ways of breathing, to change the practice according to the conditions and levels, for the convenience of diligence. Breathing is one subject, among thousands of meditation subjects, not a single subject for meditation. But in the custom in this country, most have learned the spells of the ancestors.; Cultivate according to the conditioned dharma, accept the form, quickly effective, easy to make the class less attractive, so you prefer the unconditioned, natural dharma. According to the eternal and eternal Truth of the Buddhist universe, whatever it is! Striving for enlightenment is precious, and going quickly sometimes comes slower than the average slow, middle-aged person. 
  •  Counting, thinking about the breath, is still, or not like looking at the heart, but because it is easy to do, everyone pays attention.  Moreover, it is also allowed to prevent and prevent diseases, to live a long, youthful life, making everyone want the: anti-old but perfect child, that's it!
       All the breathing exercises are difficult and easy to differ, but in no way through this ordinary nature!  As one must not intentionally focus on the breath alone, but one every time, must also stop excessively strong breathing, and the more inadequate breathing. That is how to keep it, the breath can be harmonized with each other, like a straight horizontal rope without ripples, like a circle that does not distort. It means that there is no cultivation, but what to do, the breath of spirit, the breath of reason, the breath of the body are one-sided, that is, enlightenment, attaining great concentration, the middle path, righteousness, and righteousness sense. It is a true practice of truth, very simple, very common, but sentient beings are too outrageous and inadequate, so it is difficult to persevere in practice.
      Then all the practices, there is no magic through the spontaneity, because the nature of Truth-As is concentration, the middle way, and the practices are used to eliminate excesses and shortcomings. To keep the natural middle way of Truthfulness-As concentration, it is not necessary to cultivate to find outrageous or inadequate two sides. Because life, knowing, and spirit are available, but because of being outrageous and inadequate, it is the law to prevent and hide.  Understanding that means that, as well as not having the practice of training, as long as not to be too inadequate and inadequate, to be confused, and should not accept the breath, think, count ... is the contemplation of the number of breaths.
      So, according to this, we should understand three things: Triple spirit, breathing life, spirit of wisdom, of this body, to prevent disease.
 1) Crystal three: is pure white, is concentrated, is aggregate, is light like stars! Essence-three, is the final filter, the last of the four elements. The third essence is the essence, born from within, the bones born of the flesh, the flesh born of the skin. s have been destroyed, as well as the seed is the casting, the collection of all substances in the tree, leaves, branches, flowers and fruit.; All are forged for it! (Pages 803) Only it remains, it is the jewel, the seed, the child of every thing. _<_ In a seed, which is to contain all the substance of the tree, branches, leaves, flowers, fruit, thousands of millions in it, withdraw and gather in it, hidden in it, and will appear out, the third essence of people are like that. A tri-crystal is a body of the owner. The male's germ is the male, the female's is the female, it is the owner's form. So, encapsulates the fetus, empty and loose inside. When a lot of male essence is inserted, or female essence comes in, it will be nurtured, give birth to a child, or male, or female just like that person. And if those two essences, mixed in, are that child, it will be like both parents. 🤔 
  • There are also many people: the woman is mischievous, though she is not close to any man.  But if because of the desire, sexuality, the three crystals contained in the kidneys flow out. To open the door: to get pregnant, to get in, to give birth to a child, just like a mother. [804]; 
  • So, we should call the essence of the three essences the seed, the typical substance of the warmth: dissolving heat and cold. Crystal three has two personalities: water and fire. When we love, the water rises up and falls, and when we hate it, fire rises up in flames! So the rule: nurturing essence of the third essence is spiritual training, moderate equality, not allowing love and jealousy to incite and harm. Triple essence is the "classic" (essence), essential in the body, with the cold dead, it flows out! If the air is withdrawn after a long time, the lights are illuminated, and the human figure can also be clearly seen. With the corpse in the box, one must light the lamp to the right below; do not let its vapor collect on the ground, which is called star reduction. If the fine vapor recedes to the ground a little while later, when it is hot, it will burn up like stars, and fly along the wind, swirling around the house. Whoever touches it is electrocuted - toxic, which is often called a soul-letter, or ghost lamp! In the freshly buried graves, dead bodies still contain the essence, or ignite with the heat like stone gas, the light flickers, moments, then dissolves.
  • 2) The third essence is the relic jade that the meditators have been using for a long time; the water of the third crystal, the liquid white, will be due to the harmonious warmth of the middle way. Because it is steamed, cherished, and cooked, it makes it thick, transparent, and round, according to the bones: each seed is big, small, hard, but flexible, and does not burn!  (After cremation) Each seed is as if it contains the body of a person, hidden in it, living, knowing, the spirit is available to all the mysteries. Relics are large and small and have all shapes and shades of color, depending on the merits of the person, whether they cultivate long or quickly, but more or less. It is very precious for a practitioner to have relics, proving that the person who has entered samadhi attains divine powers.  And due to the virtuous practice of many generations, should this life be it! Therefore, because people respect ethics and legal practice.  And cherish one's fruitful cultivation, which is brought to the public eye, to symbolize and celebrate the spirit, to promote martyrdom...( passed away because of religion).
